About Me

I left school with 11 GCSE’s graded C and above, including a B in Maths and a B in English.

I then went on to NESCOT college and straight into a plumbing apprenticeship.

I spent 2 years working for a plumbing company doing my apprenticeship until I became fully qualified and got my Level 2 NVQ city and guilds.

I then applied for and got a technical gas engineer apprenticeship with British Gas. I was taken on and trained to become a technical central heating installer. Where I spent 6 years installing everything from condensing combi boilers, megaflo’s to electric boilers to full 10/15 radiator complete systems.

I then transferred over to become a British Gas advisor. I was given extra training and taught how to work out what boiler would be best suited to a customer’s property and needs. Then to correctly size the boiler, radiators, pipework and quote for the work.

I then transferred again over to the service and repair side of British Gas, which is where I learnt the final aspects of central heating and hot water systems. I was given further training in fault finding and diagnostics and this is where I spent over 7 years doing up to 10 jobs a day, working on a mixture of different boilers and systems carrying out a mixture of boiler break downs and services.

I finally decided to leave British Gas once I started to feel all of my hard work and dedication to helping customers was not fully understood or appreciated by the company.

I now take pride in the reputation I make for myself, through being friendly and courteous whilst delivering a first class service.
